Make this simple, no-bake Boursin cheese appetizer featuring a creamy garlic and herb base topped with fresh tomato bruschetta topping. It is a quick party dip perfect for crackers or bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (5.2 ounce) container Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups diced fresh Roma tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Baguette slices or sturdy crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened Boursin cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, and black pepper. Mix well with a spoon or electric mixer until completely smooth and creamy.
  2. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish. This forms the base of your creamy tomato appetizer.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Gently toss to coat the tomatoes.
  4. Spoon the tomato mixture evenly over the top of the cheese base.
  5. Chill the Boursin bruschetta dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve your easy party dip cold with toasted baguette slices or your favorite crackers for dipping.

Notes

  • For a make ahead appetizer, prepare the cheese base and the tomato topping separately. Store them covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Assemble just before serving.
  • If you prefer a slightly warm dip, you can bake the cheese base (without the tomato topping) at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes until slightly soft, then top with the fresh tomato mixture and serve immediately.
  • Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze over the top of the tomatoes just before serving for extra visual appeal and flavor.
  • Use high-quality, ripe tomatoes for the best flavor in your homemade bruschetta topping.
