Make this quick and flavorful roasted broccolini side dish. It cooks fast in the oven until the florets are slightly charred and tender-crisp. This recipe is naturally gluten-free and keto-friendly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch broccolini, ends trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. You will need a sheet pan for this recipe.
  2. Place the trimmed broccolini on the sheet pan.
  3. Drizzle the broccolini with olive oil. Add the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together directly on the pan until the broccolini is evenly coated. Spread the broccolini into a single layer.
  4. Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, checking at 12 minutes. You want the florets to be slightly browned and the stems tender.
  5. Remove the pan from the oven. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispy results, use a high oven temperature like 425 degrees Fahrenheit and roast for 15 minutes.
  • If you prefer a richer flavor, substitute 1 tablespoon of the olive oil with melted butter.
  • This recipe is a great base; add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat or grated Parmesan cheese after roasting for added flavor.
